Product Description:
Sem Products' STRUCTURAL IMPACT ADHESIVE is a high-performance adhesive that is ideal for a variety of applications, including bonding steel, aluminum, and SMC and other similar composites. The adhesive features superior impact and peel strength, as well as excellent corrosion resistance. It also has a 60 minute working time, which allows for ample bonding time. The adhesive is available in a 7 oz. cartridge and has a set time of 8 hours and a top coat time of 8 hours. The cure time is 48 hours at 70°F. For heat cure options, please see the TDS.
How to Use:
- Prepare the surfaces to be bonded by cleaning them with a degreaser and allowing them to dry completely.
- Apply a bead of adhesive to one of the surfaces.
- Align the surfaces and press them together firmly.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for the specified amount of time.
Safety Precautions:
- Wear gloves and eye protection when using this product.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not ingest.
- If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
- In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water.
- In case of eye contact, rinse with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
