Rear Axle Seal and Bearing Remover

Applications: C/K WITH 8.6" RING GEAR, 1999-LATER SILVERADO/SIERA C/K GMT800, 2000-LATER TAHOE, ESCALADE, YUKON, YUKON XL, DENALI, SUBURBAN WITH 8.6" RING GEAR REAR AXLE.

• J-44685 is used to remove the axle shaft bearing from the rear axle housing on C/K (GMT800 based) vehicle equipped with the 86" ring gear rear axle.
• The bearing size was changed from the previous design C/K truck to increase strength and payload capacity, so the previously essential J-23689-A Bearing Remover will no longer fit.
• J-44685 is inserted into the axle shaft bearing, and it's nut is tightened to secure the bearing between the remover head and the washer.
• Previously essential J-2619-O1 Slide Hammer is attached to J-44685, and used to remove the bearing from the axle housing.
