Rotate engine to align engine valve timing marks per vehicle manufacturers’ instructions 2. Apply clamp Large Clamp (Twin Cam) 1. Loosen both locking bolts 2. Place large clamp between gears 3. Push slides apart 4. When engaged with timing gear, tighten both bolts 5. Replace belt following the vehicle manufacturer repair instructions 6. Once completed, loosen both locking bolts and remove large clamp Single Clamps (Single, Twin & Quad) 1. Locate position to apply clamp 2. Insert clamp under and hook end behind cam gear 3. Keep in position and screw locking bolt until contact with cylinder head - do not over tighten 4. When engaged with timing gear, tighten both bolts 5. Replace belt following the vehicle manufacturer repair instructions 6. Once completed, loosen both locking bolts and remove clamp
