You know you're onto something great when utility workers fight over who gets to use your tool. That's the buzz on a utility project where workers got a chance to try the new V28 0779-22 impact wrench.

For good reason. The tool, in independent testing, drove fully a third more 3/8" lag bolts into pressure-treated wood in 20 percent less time. When production counts, that kind of performance adds up, the crews commented.

The unit delivers 325 ft.-lbs. of torque and can run at 0-1,450 rpm or 0-2,450 BPM. It also comes with a flat head detent pin for secure socket retention, but if you prefer using a round head pin, one is included with the tool. The magnesium gear housing is durable, yet lightweight for a tool that's destined to be hanging from a toolbelt. The solidsteel ring and hanger bracket allow it to be secured to a work belt or mounted tool hook.

Like the other V28 tools, the impact wrench has a comfortable, non-slip soft grip handle. The battery pack can be reversed to change the tool's balance for overhead work or to fit into tight areas.
