The Kent-Moore KM J-41048 Swage Clamp Tool is a split-plate tool that is used to compress swage rings to the proper dimension when servicing a drive axle seals on 1995 vehicles. It is also used to crimp solid swage rings to the drive axle boot. This tool creates the required ring size/configuration to ensure a seal. The ring must be flawless and seamless after crimping.
