Applications: Corvette
The front cradle on the 2008 Pontiac G8 must be removed for certain service procedures such as oil pan gasket replacement. In these situations the engine must be securely supported. J-41803 rests on the frame rails and uses the support tube, large clevis pin and hook/wing nut assemblies.
- J-41803 includes adapter legs which set on the right and left frame rails.
- The support tube from J-28467-A is installed through the legs and locked in place with the clevis pin.
- J-41803 also includes special shaped brackets which attach to the left and right cylinder heads eliminating the need to remove additional components and avoiding damage to components.
- The hooks and wing nuts hang over the tube on special L-shaped brackets and attach to the engine brackets.
