Fluid Testers
Fluid testers are used to measure the condition of fluids in automotive systems. They are essential tools for any automotive mechanic, as they can help to identify problems with fluids that could lead to costly repairs.
There are a variety of different types of fluid testers available, each designed to measure a specific type of fluid. Some of the most common types of fluid testers include:
- Oil testers: These testers measure the viscosity and acidity of engine oil.
- Coolant testers: These testers measure the freezing point and boiling point of coolant.
- Brake fluid testers: These testers measure the moisture content of brake fluid.
- Transmission fluid testers: These testers measure the viscosity and acidity of transmission fluid.
Fluid testers are relatively easy to use. Simply follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to properly calibrate the tester and then insert the tester into the fluid reservoir. The tester will then display the results of the test.
