The Electronic Specialties 597 Premium Automotive DMM is a high-quality auto-ranging multimeter designed specifically for automotive troubleshooting. It features 18 test functions and 48 test ranges, as well as peak min/max and min/max mode recording capabilities. The 597 also measures temperature via a K-type thermocouple probe in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, and it has a milliseconds pulse width function for measuring fuel injector on-time. In addition, the 597 provides inductive RPM readings for both DIS and conventional ignitions, and it has a desirable 20 amp test range with dual fuse protection. Other features include a protective holster built into the housing, data hold, auto power-off, and + trigger adjust. The 597 comes with a blow mold case, test leads, K-type temp probe, inductive RPM clamp, and instructions.
