The helmet also features a solar-powered auto-darkening lens that changes from a light to a dark state when arc is struck, and it returns to normal when welding stops. The lens has a variable shade from DIN 9 to DIN 13, and it has outside sensitivity adjustments that provide clear vision both prior and during welding. The helmet also features a special turnover headband mechanism that allows for greater comfort and reduces fatigue.
